About Deerfield Lutheran Church:

We are a community of ordinary folks joined in faith and empowered in worship to care for others by sharing Christ's love. Living in the grace of a loving Creator, motivated by the compassion of our Lord and inspired by the Spirit we seek to minister to one another, to our neighbors and to people throughout our global village.

Grounded in a rich tradition dating back to 1890, we celebrate our unique gifts, struggle with life's challenges and work diligently to keep our hearts, minds, and arms open to new people and possibilities.

We're especially grateful for:

  • 2 worship opportunities every week - each different formats including liturgical, contemporary and spoken services;
  • compassionate pastoral care;
  • overflowing educational programs for children and young people;
  • strong lay leadership;
  • an involved membership - a synergistic mix of seasoned and new members;
  • a vibrant ministry of, by and for our youth supported by a cadre of adult mentors
